Song of Rest

I cannot run, I cannot hide

I am undone, I will not lie

No turning back to where I've been

Your mercy chased me down again

Oh to hide in this place of trust

Death swallowed by Life

Mercy's peacefulness

How I long to abide

To sing a song of rest
In the Kingdom of light

I belong to my Jesus

What I've lost was never mine

And through the cross

I've come to die

Total surrender love's sacrifice

All that I am hidden in Christ
