Redemption

Why do we need to build
Kingdoms of our own?
Why do we seek Your will
Then take another road?

But trials come
And the winds will change
Blowing pride away
When comfort and security
no longer sustain
What then will you say?

The Kingdom of heaven is within
More than words we pray
Greater is He who lives in me
Who will stand until the end
He who exposes will heal
The wounds of sin
To prepare our hearts,
Prepare our hearts
For Redemption

So let Him rock your world
Let Him have His way
Burning remnants of earth
the chaff and hay
So all that you stand on
Is not what you say
But the fruit of Him
Whose Redemption remains

BRIDGE

All that’s not of Him
Will crumble in the wake
Of His mighty winds

So put your hope in………..

The Kingdom of heaven is within
More than words we pray
Greater is He who lives in me
Who will stand until the end
He who exposes will heal
The wounds of sin
To prepare our hearts,
Prepare our hearts
For Redemption

  1. Redemption is a song about the current times. I cannot tell you how many times God would give me certain lyrics or a song and then at Sunday church, my pastor would preach that exact message. God is going to shake His church and though it may feel somewhat like at the time judgement, His purposes are always to refine and prepare His people from the difficult times ahead. His intent is to redeem all that the enemy has stolen and to help us see that for our benefit, the difficult times will in turn expose the weaknesses in our lives - so that we can become stronger in Him, and not in ourselves. The time of "talking", the luxury of Bible study learning and discussion will soon give way to a call to actually start walking in the Truth. The proof is in the pudding, and this is where the rubber meets the road. He wants to heal our hearts, but we have to be willing to fully live the life He has called us to, no matter the cost.
