More Than Life

Jesus I need you more than life

This broken body yearns to be at your side

Until these days of sorrow end

This weary soul surrendered within

Will learn to die to live again

Apart from your love there's nothing I desire

And though my heart and flesh may fail

You are my strength, my portion within

No deeper peace found

than letting go of all I've known

No greater love surrounds

The lonely soul trusting 

Beyond all hope.....

Jesus I love you more than life

You gave me freedom

The wings of a butterfly

I know someday this life will end

But Your Word will soar rising within
